Brenda Page Smith, Ph.D., brings a wide range of experience to Genesis Compliance Monitoring & Solutions LLC. Dr. Smith has managed and operated a woman owned consulting business for over 30 years. As chief executive officer, she has experience in the day-to-day management including development of management control systems, budget preparation and monitoring, contract negotiation and management, and development of policies, procedures, methods and standards. Dr. Smith has extensive, experience in developing, implementing and monitoring programs for city, county, state, and federally funding projects. She has conducted compliance monitoring for both the public and private sector.
Dr. Smith has assessed organizations and analyzed programs to determine if goals and objectives are met, programs are operating within funding guidelines, determined areas of cost reduction and program improvement and developed comprehensive reports.
Dr. Smith understands successful businesses need to continuously improve their business processes: to become more efficient and productive, and to respond to market changes faster while providing excellent service to clients.
Pamela D. Stowe. Ms. Stowe brings a wealth of experience to Genesis Compliance Monitoring & Solutions LLC. She has been a Paralegal since 1986, Roosevelt University, Chicago. A public service career that began in 1969 in the Illinois House of Representatives as a Committee Clerk; Illinois Governor’s Office; Illinois Senate (Assistant to late Senator Harold Washington); Office of the Illinois Comptroller ; U.S. House of Representatives (Assistant to the late Cong. Harold Washington); City of Chicago (Assistant to late Mayor Harold Washington and Mayor’s Office Administrator); and the Illinois Department of Human Services (Director of Business Services and Bureau Chief).
Ms. Stowe possesses in-depth knowledge of the political and governmental processes with strong, research, writing and analytical skills. She is an experienced business owner that demonstrates strong organizational skills, works effectively as a member of a team and proactively interacts with a diverse group of clients.
Pamela has over thirty (30) years experience with assisting businesses (for-profit and not for-profit) from start-up including but not limited to, incorporation, federal and state tax exemption determination, business plans, interpretation of contract compliance rules, regulations and guidelines, grant/proposal writing, monitoring and management.
Ms. Stowe firmly believes that the key to a successful business is “honest, fact-based analyses, sound advice and practical solutions.”
The Genesis team has a combined 60+ years experience writing grant proposals, compliance monitoring and grant management.
